Taneshia Nash Laird

President & CEO | Social justice, economic revitalization

Taneshia Nash Laird is the inaugural President and CEO of the Greater Roxbury Arts and Cultural Center (GRACC), overseeing the development of a $35 million nonprofit visual and performing arts center focusing on Black arts and culture.

With over 20 years of experience in nonprofit arts management, business consulting, and economic development, Taneshia is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the arts and culture sector.

Prior to her current role, she successfully led the turnaround of Newark Symphony Hall in New Jersey, eliminating deficits, paying off debt, and increasing revenue streams. Taneshia has also been a mentor, board member, keynote speaker, and adjunct professor, advocating for equitable economic development and wellness in marginalized communities.

Her educational background includes certificates in Corporate Director Academy, Nonprofit Executive Leadership, and a Master of Arts in Live Entertainment Management.

Taneshia Nash Laird has held various leadership positions in organizations such as Legacy Business Advisors, LLC, Arts Council of Princeton, and My Image Studios LLC (MIST Harlem), showcasing her diverse skill set and expertise in arts and cultural management.
