Tara Kerr-Elliott is an esteemed professional with a diverse background and a strong focus on end-of-life and post-death care. She is deeply interested in communication, bioethics, decision-making, education, and simulation.

Tara has been actively involved in various advisory and committee roles, including being a member of the advisory council for Together for Short Lives, an advisor for True Colours Trust, and a committee member for both the GOSH Bioethics and Schwartz committees.

Tara Kerr-Elliott's educational journey is impressive, with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Children's Palliative and Bereavement Care from UCL being a standout qualification. She also holds a PGDip in Community Health Care, a BSc (Hons) in Professional Nursing Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Diploma of Education with a focus on Pediatric Nursing, all from London South Bank University. Her academic foundation started at Kendrick Girls Grammar School in Reading.

Throughout her career, Tara has contributed her expertise to several prominent organizations. She has served as a PHD Student at NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research), a WellChild Nurse Specialist and Practice Educator at Louis Dundas Centre within Great Ormond Street Hospital, a Senior Care Team Leader at Shooting Star CHASE, a Children's Palliative Care Nurse Specialist at Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, and a Children's Community Nurse at Lewisham PCT.
