Tarek Nigim is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a specialization in computational modeling of thermofluid systems, particularly in the context of the oil and gas industry. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Ireland, Galway, where his research focused on 'Computational Modelling of Thermofluid Flashing in MSF Desalination.' Tarek has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from Cairo University, where he graduated with High Honors and was recognized as one of the top 3% of students in the Faculty of Engineering. His academic achievements include being shortlisted for the President’s Award for Teaching Excellence and receiving accolades for his contributions to various programs and initiatives. Tarek has gained valuable professional experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta and as a former Postdoctoral Researcher, Part-Time Lecturer, and PHD Scholar at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise as a Research Assistant at The American University in Cairo. Beyond his academic and research endeavors, Tarek has demonstrated leadership qualities by founding and presiding over the 'Youth Leader Training Center' in Gaza city, Palestine.
