Tasshin Fogleman is a digital-native quasi-monk and former Assistant Director at the Monastic Academy in Lowell, VT.4 He received his name Tasshin (達真), meaning "to reach or achieve truth," in 2018 when he took bodhisattva vows with his teachers Shinzen Young and Soryu Forall.2

Currently, Tasshin serves as the Guildmaster of The Service Guild, a position he has held since July 2021.3 The Service Guild is described as a "funprofessional working co-operative focused on creating fun service projects aimed at maximum deep benefit".2

Tasshin is dedicated to spreading love, following his curiosity, and empowering others.4 He structures his projects to create what he calls "maximum deep benefit," which involves helping as many people as possible, as deeply as possible.1 His work is largely made possible through generosity, with much of his content and creations available for free.1

Tasshin is active online, maintaining a blog, newsletter, YouTube channel, and Twitter presence (@tasshinfogleman).2 He also co-authored a book titled "The Path of Empowerment".2 Tasshin's approach to life and work is deeply influenced by his spiritual practice and the bodhisattva vows he has taken.12
