Taylor Pistone is a dedicated individual with a passion for the convergence of technology and neuroscience, as reflected in their academic pursuits. They completed an Integrated Degree in Engineering, Arts and Sciences (IDEAS) Honors Program, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Cognitive Neuroscience at Lehigh University. Prior to this, Taylor attended Toms River High School East for their high school education.
During their academic journey, Taylor held various roles and positions that enriched their experience and honed their skills. They served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Sabrina Jedlicka and Dr. Daniel Babcock, gaining valuable insights into the research process within the field of neuroscience. Additionally, Taylor took on the role of Vice President of Chapter Wellness at ALPHA GAMMA DELTA SORORITY, showcasing leadership and organizational skills.
Taylor's commitment to exploring the intricacies of neurological diseases led them to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator Intern at Bio Behavioral Health. This experience allowed Taylor to delve deeper into the practical applications of their academic knowledge. They also contributed to the TRAC Writing Program as a TRAC Fellow, refining their communication and writing abilities.
In their involvement with ALPHA GAMMA DELTA SORORITY, Taylor further demonstrated their dedication by serving as the Chair of Sisterhood Events, highlighting their capacity to oversee and coordinate events effectively. Additionally, Taylor took on the role of Orientation Leader at the Office of First-Year Experience, showcasing their enthusiasm for guiding and supporting incoming students.
Looking towards the future, Taylor Pistone is eager to pursue internship opportunities in the summer of 2021 to further expand their practical skills. Following this, they aim to commence a master's program in the fall of 2021 to deepen their knowledge and expertise in the intersection of technology and the brain.
