Tejaswini Vavilala is a governance and public policy enthusiast with a focus on resource mobilization, relationship building, and donor management.

Her research interests include the Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR), development financing, CSOs impact on the United Nations Reform process, and LDCs focusing on graduation.

Tejaswini has designed peace-building tools for conflict-affected areas and developed a guidebook for an Early Warning Response System (EWRS) in war-torn regions during her time as a Fellow at the IRC.

With a background in communications, she excels in developing and implementing creative campaigns with a strong emphasis on storytelling, technology, and measurability.

She possesses a solid foundation in development studies, research, and analysis along with a comprehensive understanding of international affairs.

Tejaswini is also involved in Indian classical music, photography, yoga, and leads the Sphoorti Foundation, an orphanage in Hyderabad, India, supporting over 250 children. She oversees project management and fundraising activities for the organization.

Her educational background includes a Master of Science in International Relations and Affairs from The New School, a Master of Arts in Public Relations/Image Management from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and a Bachelors in Mass Communication and Journalism, Literature, and Political Science from St. Francis College for Women, Osmania University.

She has gained professional experience at organizations like the International Rescue Committee, Global Policy Forum, CA Technologies, Bharti AXA General Insurance, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Cummins Inc., and Sqanda Prefab World Pvt Ltd.
