Teresa Oliveira is an accomplished scientist with a broad interdisciplinary research expertise, holding a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Max Planck Society. Having worked in various research institutions, including the Weizmann Institute of Science, Sungkyunkwan University, and Københavns Universitet, Oliveira has gained international exposure and developed a strong skill set in protein modification, peptide and small molecule synthesis, catalysis, and the design and development of new compounds for biomedical, chemical biology, and medicinal chemistry applications.
Committed to making science more accessible to the public, Oliveira also has experience in science communication and has received awards for her communication skills. Her international experience and ability to work well in interdisciplinary teams make her a collaborative team player.
Oliveira is the co-founder and director of Ionic ApS, and has worked as a Product Development professional at CowaTech ApS. She was also a postdoctoral researcher at Københavns Universitet and Weizmann Institute of Science, in addition to being a scientific advisor at Sungkyunkwan University, a PhD student at Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung, and a research assistant at IRB Barcelona.
