Terry Godwaldt

Terry Godwaldt is a dedicated advocate for global education, striving to make it a mainstream part of educational systems worldwide. With a focus on project-based learning and real-world application, he collaborates with educators from across the globe to integrate globally minded practices into classrooms.

As the founder and director of the Centre for Global Education, Terry leads a team that provides immersive, technology-driven learning experiences for students, encouraging them to address global challenges and become active global citizens. He has impacted hundreds of thousands of students and teachers from numerous countries since the Center's inception in 2007.

Beyond his leadership role, Terry has a rich educational background, having studied at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. With over 15 years of teaching experience in Canada and Europe, he continues to inspire high school students and support teachers in incorporating global perspectives into their curriculum.

Acknowledged for his significant contributions to reshaping education, Terry Godwaldt has been proudly honored with prestigious awards such as the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee award and the ASCD award for Innovative Teaching.
