Thanh Tran

Dr. Thanh Nga Tran is a board-certified dermatologist at Kuchnir Dermatology with research affiliations at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, an MD from Harvard Medical School, and a PhD in Medical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology.

Dr. Tran's research at the Cutaneous Biology Research Center focuses on using nanotechnology, tissue engineering, and drug delivery for innovative dermatologic therapies.

Her work includes exploring nanotechnology and nucleic acid technologies like siRNAs for treating skin conditions through cutaneous applications.

Dr. Thanh Tran is involved in a clinical trial to prevent the growth of hemangioma tumors and co-founded the Vietnam Vascular Anomalies Center, providing care to children with disfiguring birthmarks.

She actively mentors medical students and residents and participates in medical volunteer work in Vietnam.
