We're proud of United Way of Long Island’s workforce development program, ‘Power Up! Wind, Solar & Renewables’, first Spanish-speaking cohort of graduates. This training generously supported by Bank of America, Empire State Development, and National Grid Ventures is focused on creating a foundation and pathways to secure careers in the renewable energy industry for Long Islanders. Felicitaciones!
Family -- mine starts with incredible parents, terrific sisters, a beloved brother, and all of our wonderful children, spouses, aunts, uncles, & cousins. This morning we lost the Giant of our family, our Father, our Hero -- Frank Regnante. Dad struggled this past month, and his big heart was tired. Our father was 94, and until last week, he was still giving me ideas about how to make the world a better place. God called him home because I’m sure he needed an excellent grant writer to make room in heaven for amazing people like my dad. May you rest in peace; we promise to take care of Mom. We will all miss your thoughtful letters & notes. There won’t be a day that goes by that we don’t remember and celebrate you.
