Theresa Walsh

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager

Theresa Walsh holds a Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety with distinction from RMIT, an MSc in Occupational Hygiene Practice from the University of Wollongong, and a BSc (Hons) in Biology & Management Studies from the University of Leeds.

She is a full member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (MAIOH) and serves as a NATA Technical Assessor for Asbestos Inspection Bodies according to ISO/IEC 17020:2012.

In 2017, Theresa received the FMA Industry Excellence Award for her work on a comprehensive asbestos and hazmat management plan at RMIT.

She has held various significant positions in different organizations, including her current role as the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager at The Melbourne School of Engineering at the University of Melbourne. In the past, she served as the Senior Manager of Safety & Hazardous Materials at RMIT University, the Manager of Hazardous Materials & Safety at the same institution, the State Manager at Safe Environments, a Managing Consultant at Prensa Pty Ltd, an OHS Consultant at Parsons Brinckerhoff, a Team Leader WHS at Coffey Environments, and worked as an Asbestos Consultant at Life Environmental Services and Blues Consultants.
