Thiago de Souza Amparo is a distinguished law professor known for his work in the field of human rights.

He possesses expertise in Diversity, Discrimination law, Constitutional Law, Public Policy, and Legal Research, with advanced degrees in human rights law and comparative constitutional law.

Thiago de Souza Amparo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Central European University, where he also pursued his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Human Rights.

He enriched his academic journey as a Visiting Scholar in Law at Columbia University in the City of New York and earned his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.

Currently, he serves as a professor at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom.

His previous roles include being the Diversity Coordinator at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and the Executive Editor of Sur - International Human Rights Journal at Conectas Direitos Humanos.
