Tiago Rodrigues is the Chief Executive Officer of the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA), a position he assumed on August 1, 2024, following a unanimous vote by the organization. Rodrigues holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Management of Science and Technology from the Technical University of Lisbon, along with a degree in Business Administration from the same institution. Additionally, he earned a BA (Honors) in Business Administration from Humberside University in the UK.2
Vision and Goals
In his role as CEO, Rodrigues emphasizes enhancing user experiences with Wi-Fi technology, particularly focusing on seamless connectivity and Wi-Fi roaming. He aims to strengthen relationships with enterprises across various sectors and to promote convergence between Wi-Fi and 5G technologies. Under his leadership, the WBA has initiated important projects such as Wi-Fi 6 deployment guidelines and trials in industrial IoT applications.134
