Today I wrapped up the external research and design for the first phase of a govtech modernization project. I have loved mixing innovation methods with agile development to improve many people's lives. At the same time, I've been working on my first book, and I have 2.5 weeks to hand the manuscript to the publisher. More on both of these precious projects when I have links to share!

There is a round of Liberatory Design training from the National Equity Project coming up in May! This is a critical skills update for anyone who considers themselves a designer, innovator, strategist, researcher, whatever you are calling it. If you are helping people and organizations change, you need to learn from this group. I was part of the last cohort and found it to be one of the most immediately useful and community-building experiences in my career.
