Happy to go back to my antitrust roots at Antitrust Midwest in Chicago and dust off my fundamentals to discuss How to be a Better “Business” In-House Counsel Lawyer. Hope to see many familiar faces there!

My grandmother is my hero and the strongest person I know. She is a survivor and a fighter who has never let adversity define who she is or what she can do. But she is also the funniest, most loving and caring person and I am so fortunate to still have her in my life today as she closes in on her 92nd birthday.
Over 25 years ago (and to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of her original testimony of survival) she shared in frighteningly premonitory fashion that antisemitism is "endless, there is no firm definition... It is a monster with billions of heads." Those words ring so true today, but I remain hopeful that we will go back to a place where fighting against hate and discrimination in all its forms is a non-partisan issue that unites us all. Hate doesn't define who we are; how we respond to it does. On this Yom Hashoah, I remember 6 million lives lost to an evil I hope the world will never see again. I hope you too take a few moments to think about the past, to make sure we all build a future we are proud of.
