Tim Zak is a seasoned senior executive and advisor with a diverse background in the private, non-profit, and government sectors. His expertise lies in new venture formation, social innovation, global corporate and IT strategy, and manufacturing and supply chain management. With an extensive global work experience covering over 40 countries across the Americas, Europe, Asia, India, and the Middle East, he brings a wealth of knowledge and insights to the table.

Tim's specialties include new venture conception and development, social innovation, enterprise, and entrepreneurship. He is well-versed in supply chain management, lean manufacturing, global operations strategy, and optimizing human performance.

His educational background is robust, having studied MBA with a focus on Finance, Marketing, and International Business at New York University. He also pursued an MS in Engineering Science with a specialization in Manufacturing Systems and Reliability from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Throughout his career, Tim Zak has been associated with various esteemed organizations, holding key roles such as Professor of Practice at Woxsen University, School of Business, Executive and Leadership Coach at Exec, and Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He has also served as the CEO of Grittopia, LLC, a Member of the Board of Directors at Diamond Kinetics, and a Venture Mentor at AlphaLab Gear, among other notable positions.

Additionally, Tim has been actively involved in mentoring and advisory capacities, contributing his expertise as a Mentor for the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. He has held strategic advisory roles at Diamond Kinetics and has been a Founding Board Member at The Australian Centre for Social Innovation.

Prior to his current engagements, Tim Zak has held positions like Director at Carnegie Mellon University, CEO/President at Pittsburgh Social Enterprise Accelerator/Social Innovation Accelerator, and Senior Consultant at McKinsey and Company. His professional journey includes managerial roles at renowned firms like Arthur D. Little and IBM, showcasing his versatile skill set and leadership capabilities.
