Ashleigh Teeter was raised in a cult in Arkansas, then excommunicated without contact with her family for 25 years. She and her siblings will share their gut wrenching story of high control religion, religious trauma, spiritual abuse, their eventual reunion, and the impact on their families, relationships, and beliefs.

In later episodes, others will share their stories of religious trauma, adverse religious experiences, purity culture, faith deconstruction, and high control religion and cults. This podcast, hopefully, will be insightful and create a safe space for listeners with shared experiences to resolve trauma and find community.
