Todd Pearson is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in the technology and payment industry. He retired in February 2019 after a successful career spanning several high-profile roles.
From March 2011 to February 2019, Todd served as the Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Zuora, Inc. where he was instrumental in serving, developing, and retaining the customer base of the company.
Prior to his tenure at Zuora, from June 2008 to December 2010, Todd held the position of Chief Customer Officer at RichRelevance. In this capacity, he oversaw direct and channel sales, client services, marketing, and product operations.
Earlier in his career, from January 2000 to May 2008, Todd was a key figure at PayPal, Inc., an eBay company. His roles at PayPal included Head of Sales where he managed various sales functions including outside sales, inside telesales, partner business development, and channel sales. He also played pivotal roles in pioneering PayPal's merchant services business and managing the Financial Services group, which handled business relationships with payment systems, banks, and vendors.
Before joining PayPal, Todd worked as a management consultant with a focus on payment services at Accenture and Edgar, Dunn & Company from 1987 to 1999. His expertise includes general management, sales, strategy, business development, and relationship management.
Todd holds an MBA in Business from the London Business School and a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley. His educational background complements his extensive professional experience in the technology and payment sectors.
