🌍 AI agents are probably going to change our lives—and what fascinates me the most is that this video is less about the technology and more about the stories emerging from these simulations. 🤖📖
I recently wrote about simulations, and coincidentally, this video from Altera about what they’re calling “Project Sid” dropped yesterday. 🎥✨
This is a technological marvel, but what’s even more intriguing is how the agents banded together to light up their villages 🏘️💡—an idea to catch the attention of lost citizens.
But why do they care? 🤔
• Is it because they can’t produce enough food without the missing workforce? 🌾👨🌾
• Or maybe their “caring variables” are triggered once absence becomes a problem that needs solving? 🤷♂️🤷♀️
These emergent behaviors are powerful because they show how simulations can be used to study and influence public opinion or decision-making 🗳️. They’ve already successfully simulated a democracy in Minecraft 🏛️🎮, but this could also be used to simulate something like a totalitarian autocracy. ⚖️👥
That said, I believe this can be used for good 🌱. I envision a future where parasocial entertainment evolves into a more personalized world with hyper-realistic NPCs in these simulations 🎮👥.

“Entertainment and information are a lot closer together than they ever have been before.” 🎬📰
Just saw a fresh promo on Instagram from the official Netflix account for a show called “What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates” 📲
It’s a good post and makes me what to watch the show.
But what fascinates me the most is how the post itself validates Lady Gaga’s claim (I’ll post an image below in the comments!) 📸.
The IG post’s comment thread is buzzing with a coordinated group of fans begging Netflix to bring back a show called “Dead Boy Detectives” that I had previously never heard of. 🕵️♂️👻
What are your thoughts? 🤔 Have you noticed similar trends in how entertainment and information are merging? Drop your insights below—I’d love to hear them! 💬👇
