Tom D. Holden is a researcher and senior economist at the Deutsche Bundesbank, specializing in macroeconomics and monetary economics. He was born on April 13, 1983, and holds British citizenship.15 Holden completed his DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford in 2013, with a thesis titled "Three essays in dynamic macroeconomics," under the supervision of Professor Simon Wren-Lewis.1

His academic background includes a BA (Hons) in Mathematics and Philosophy and an MPhil in Economics, both from the University of Oxford.1 Before joining the Deutsche Bundesbank in August 2018, Holden was a lecturer at the University of Surrey from 2011 to 2018.1
