Highlights
Nice to see my Alma Mater,Drexel University, receive its due.I love seeing that other universities are consulting them about how to set up a good co-op program.
My co-ops allowed me to gain amazing work experience, make a little money and have my pick of companies in my field when I graduated. And the other benefit of working while in school? Understanding if what you think is your dream career, really is. Co-op is a dose of reality of what is really required.
The 2024 Olympics just concluded, leaving me with an abundance of free time! If you tuned into the Olympic coverage, amidst the Snoop Dogg and Flavor Flav updates, the remarkable success of US women athletes surely caught your attention.
This success did not materialize overnight but is deeply rooted in history. Reflecting on the pivotal year 1972 and the enactment of Title IX, I want to look into its enduring impact on our women athletes in the recent Olympics.
