With an educational background that includes a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electro-Optics, and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, Dr. Blake is well-versed in various technical disciplines.

Throughout his career, Dr. Blake has held prominent roles in several esteemed organizations, including serving as a Program Officer at NASA, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Privateer Space, President at AetherTouch and nFugue, as well as various advisory positions at FGC Plasma Solutions, PteroDynamics Inc., MixComm Inc, Transient Plasma Systems, Sienza Inc., and Kairos Ventures.

Dr. Blake's professional journey also includes positions at industry giants such as Lockheed Martin and significant roles in governmental departments, including the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the United States Air Force.

His expertise spans across commercialization, program management, system engineering, and advisory capacities, reflecting a diverse skill set and a profound understanding of the aerospace and defense sectors.
