As a former Partner at CKA Architects, he played a pivotal role in leading design teams on diverse projects that emphasize community engagement and environmental responsibility. His tenure at CKA was characterized by a collaborative approach, where he facilitated discussions among stakeholders to ensure that each project met the highest standards of design and sustainability.
Before taking on the role of Partner, Travis served as Principal at Studio TRW, where he further honed his skills in visual studies and architectural design. His background in visual studies has equipped him with a unique perspective that enhances his ability to create spaces that are not only functional but also visually compelling. Prior to that, he was a Project Manager at CKA, where he managed multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring they were delivered on schedule and within budget while adhering to the firm’s commitment to excellence.
Travis’s creativity extends beyond architecture; he has also made significant contributions to the film industry, serving as a Producer at Aquarium- Rob Meyer Films and formerly as Assistant to the Director at Protozoa Pictures. These roles allowed him to blend his artistic sensibilities with organizational skills, enabling him to manage complex projects that require a balance of vision and practical execution. He has also worked as a Co-Director at Agora Collective, where he collaborated with other creatives to explore the intersection of art and community, forging partnerships that amplify collective impact.
In addition to his architectural endeavors, he also has experience in residential construction while self-employed. This hands-on experience not only deepens his understanding of the architectural process but also enriches his designs with practical insights, ensuring that they are not only visionary but also feasible in real-world scenarios.
