You've probably heard the phrase "Crossing the Rubicon."
In 49 B.C., Julius Caesar had to decide if he would cross the river and effectively declare civil war with Rome.
He crossed it. And, in doing so, changed the course of history.
Now we may be no Caesar, but all of us come upon pivotal crossroads in life where there is 𝐧𝐨 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤.
Those moments where the path we choose - the decision we make - will 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
In my most recent video, I talk about how to live with irreversible decisions when the outcome isn't what we would have hoped for.
Check out the video here. I'll give you a taste of what's discussed in the comment section below.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲? 🤔
(I’ll tell you what it’s not about…)
▶ It’s not about "fixing" you. You are not broken.
▶ It’s not about handing you a set of tools to cope and then sending you on your way.
▶ It's not about endless self-examination and interminable self-exploration.
Here's what it IS about...
➡ Confronting the ways you sabotage yourself.
➡ Challenging the stories you tell to keep things safe and predictable.
➡ Understanding the patterns that hold you back and finding the courage to leave them behind once and for all.
You don’t go to therapy to feel better.
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥.
