Trina Talukdar began her impactful journey at the age of 18 in Kalighat, a renowned red light area in Asia, where she engaged with commercial sex workers and discovered their untapped potential.

Motivated by the strength and possibilities she saw in these women, Trina co-founded Kranti, a non-profit organization based in Mumbai, when she was 22, aiming to empower trafficked girls to become catalysts for social change.

With a rich educational background, including a Master's in Social Work with a Gold Medal from Christ College in Bangalore, Trina has consistently demonstrated her commitment to addressing social issues through innovative leadership.

Trina has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as being a former Change Manager at Ashoka, a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, and a Fellow at American Express, showcasing her dedication to driving positive transformations.

Her extensive experience includes positions like Director of Venture and Fellowship for South Asia at Ashoka, further solidifying her reputation as a serial social entrepreneur in the realm of 21st-century leadership.

Trina's diverse professional journey encompasses roles such as Manager of Project Development at Sukrupa, Medical Social Worker trainee at St. John's Medical College, and Psychiatric Social Worker trainee at NIMHANS, underlining her multidimensional approach towards creating social impact.

Her involvement in organizations like Bolti Bandh, SOS International, and British Council as a Climate Champion and Active Citizen underscores her versatility and commitment to a wide range of social causes.

Trina's engagement as an educator for children with disabilities, personality developer in the Teach India Project, and community developer trainee at Social Action, Christ University, exemplifies her holistic approach to nurturing individuals and communities.
