Ty Frix is a multifaceted professional with a background in football, academic excellence, entrepreneurship, and medicine.
During his time at the University of Georgia, Ty excelled as a long snapper on the football team, setting a record of 54 consecutive games played.
He graduated magna cum laude in Biomedical Engineering and was elected to the Academic All American team, showcasing his commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Ty pursued an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship, which laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial endeavors.
Ty leveraged his MBA to establish Ichor, a health and wellness data analytics company, before transitioning to the academic world.
He later joined the University of Georgia's College of Engineering as a lecturer, focusing on teaching Entrepreneurship and guiding university startups through the Innovation Gateway program.
Ty's passion for innovation led him to enroll in medical school at MCG - Athens in the fall of 2018, demonstrating his dedication to making an impact in the field of medicine.
Currently, Ty is furthering his education by studying for a Doctor of Medicine degree at AU/UGA Medical Partnership, showcasing his continuous pursuit of knowledge and growth in various domains.
