Tyler Brown is a co-founder of i2O Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on developing next-generation oral biologics. He currently serves as the Senior Director of Technology Development at i2O Therapeutics, where he leads efforts to expand the company's ionic liquid library and oversees product development from discovery through Pre-Investigational New Drug Application (Pre-IND). He is also involved in corporate strategy and strategic partnerships.12

Brown holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Harvard University, where he contributed to pioneering research on ionic liquids for oral drug delivery. He also earned an M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UC Santa Barbara and a B.S. in Polymer Science with minors in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi. His academic work has focused on drug delivery systems, nanoparticle transport, and blood-brain barrier research.12

In addition to his scientific contributions, Brown is an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the life sciences industry. He serves as the Chair and President of OUTbio San Diego, a nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ professionals in biotech through networking, education, and advocacy.12
