Highlights
It’s go time! PartnerStack’s STACK’D Connect is here. Going to be a great day with some great folks.
Lindsay Cordell kicking things off for us with some incredible research and insights.
“We’ll do some Montana shit.”
When Jason Yarborough 🐻 reached out months ago about the Arcadia Leadership Experience with Sam Yarborough, I joked that’s all I needed to hear.
But there were many reasons why PartnerStack should be there.
💰 Let's start with the investment logic💰
We’ve found that smaller, more intimate events drive outsized impact. ✅
PartnerStack is used by the entire GTM to drive revenue, but partnership leaders are core. An intimate event with sr. partner folks means every conversation is valuable. The “Cost per ICP Conversation,” would be far lower than a large event with mixed attendees. While I enjoy talking to everyone, I need to invest dollars where conversations are with our ICP. ✅
❤️ Now, the things paired with the above that made it a no-brainer 🐻
Yarby and Sam deeply care about the partnerships community and put it first. They made it easy to support their vision. Life’s too short to work with folks that make it a pain in the ass.
The vision for this event was unlike any other. It was masterfully planned to ensure time for deep conversations, which were the highlight.
All the speakers showed up and delivered. We started with “What’s said here, stays here” and it paid off. We got into the mud, literally and figuratively.
A few shout outs: Thank you to Will Taylor 🤝 for being you. Had a blast.
Cory Snyder for being an awesome customer and delivering practical advice. And letting me have fun with your Teamwork.com sign.
Kathleen Booth for sparking a conversation we had to cut off for food, but I hope continues.
Jessie Shipman for ice cream adventures and introducing me to Fluincy.
Curtis Ropp for chatting payment processing and a little mischief.
Mike Tetlow for being the only person on LinkedIn aware of my neighborhood nickname.
Brian Jambor for a bang on talk and sharing real-life templates.
Josh Katz for Taco Bell and fly fishing lessons.
Josh Wagner for giving us the sales and investor view of partnerships. Looking forward to the book.
Mac Reddin 🦕 , Katrine Reddin 🦕 , Rayna van Beuzekom 🦕 ... from Mac’s talk to making tea out of weeds, it was a pleasure to get to know Commsor 🦕.
Steph Reck and Ben Philyaw for our fireside chat where the fire was our biggest competitor.
Andy Cochran & Sangram Vajre our convo among dinosaurs is still with me. “Stacked & Packed” for a sandwich shop?
Antonio Caridad — we bonded over travels and I think everyone left planning to have PartnerOps on their team in 2025.
Amelia Taylor, you’re a crazy person. Thanks for the laughs with Kevin Harris.
Rob Rebholz, great to know you and Superglue. See you in New York.
Emir Elliott-Lindo, you explained partner influence measurement better than anyone.
Julian Terkaly, we didn't chat much, but sticking around for Taco Bell was great fun.
Tom Hewitt, loved our cohort chats and your perspectives as a revenue leader.
And now, we continue the conversation this week at STACK’D. What a couple of weeks it’s been!
