To all my friends and former colleagues in Israel, I’m heartbroken to hear details of the atrocities that are happening in your homes and towns. As I’ve reached out to check on some of you I’ve been horrified to hear what’s been happening and relieved to know that you are safe.
To my American friends and colleagues, you didn’t support or celebrate ISIS when they did this in Syria. Many of my Jewish friends and loved ones are feeling unsafe after seeing groups marching in support of the grotesque actions of Hamas and chanting anti-Semitic rhetoric. Taking this moment as your opportunity to opine on Middle East politics or show “support” for the rape and murder of their loved ones is not the move. Let’s show some love instead.
My love to all of you who are suffering loss and tragedy during this horrible week in Israel.
Productivity Paranoia... bum bum bum.... oh god it's another one... last quarter it was quiet quitting, the alliteration is coming hard and fast, is there no end to the workplace madness!?
But seriously, if you lead a team, and you're struggling to feel confident that your team can meet its deadlines, you may want to tune into this discussion. It might seem counterintuitive but your team probably isn't the problem, I'll give you one guess at where you should put your focus.
I'm always excited to learn how to make my teams dynamic, creative, and fun and I'm looking forward to learning a few things from the rockstars on this panel. Thank you Economist Impact for inviting me back.
