🔥 A few years ago, I realized my sales process was missing something huge... and it changed EVERYTHING!
I had a strong product, a well-crafted pitch, and a solid track record. But here’s the truth: My sales conversions weren’t where they should’ve been.
It wasn’t that I didn’t know how to sell. The problem? My sales process was a one-way street. I was talking at my prospects, not with them.
The turning point came when I realized the real issue: I needed a dialogue, not a monologue. That’s when I created the Color Code Sales Method (CCSM) – a technique designed to transform boring pitches into meaningful, interactive conversations.
Here’s What Was Missing: ❌ My sales approach lacked interaction. ❌ It was more about presenting my solutions than involving them in the process. ❌ Prospects didn’t feel heard, which made the pitch feel forced.
The Game-Changer: The CCSM
💡 Set the Purpose – Align on their goals at the start. Understand their challenges before proposing any solutions.
💡 Establish Current Reality – Guide them through a self-assessment using a traffic light system (green, yellow, red). Prospects literally sell the service to themselves! This alone skyrocketed engagement and transformed how clients responded.
💡 Reveal the Solution – Now that they’ve identified their own gaps, introduce how the CCSM can provide a tailored solution to meet their needs.
The Result? A massive shift from “pitching” to partnership. I saw a HUGE increase in client engagement, and the transformation was undeniable.
Are you finding that your sales process is one-sided? Let’s turn it around.
💬 Drop a comment below or send me a message, and I’ll share how the CCSM can help you create interactive, meaningful sales conversations that convert! #Sales #SalesStrategy #CCSM
AI AI AI! I know, we keep hearing about it and how great it is to use. But how useful is it without any true strategic plan.
Pretty bloody useful it seems.
I went through my 30 days history. Let me share a random list of things I used AI for and at the end, I'll tell you what this means for the future...
-Blur text on an image -How is Rachael Gunn connected to AusBreaking -In the battle of Long Tan, how how many Australian's were national service members -Math worksheet solutions for grade 3 maths UK curriculum -Can you read any of this cursive writing and transcribe it (WW2 great-grandfathers service records) -What are some suburbs in Tasmania, Australia that have stunning views of the water, are on a hill or sloping and are at a good price to buy. -Explain subtraction with 3 digits and regrouping. -How does spine cancer lead to death -Do a rewrite on this video sales script... -Hip injuries GARP details -What is the churn rate (uploaded spreadsheet data) -What are 6 key features and benefits with any statistics you have, about the color code sales method
So this is a pretty eclectic mix. What I realized is that I have RARELY used Google in the past 2 months. When I do use it, it is for local area questions and usually on Google map.
The reason is pretty clear. AI just gives me the answer. Or at least, it gives me a version of the answer. Google gives me a list and I have to go in and interpret and filter. Sorry, I am spoilt now. I want an answer.
Now, even if the answer may be bias or off, unless it is screaming out to me as off, I tend to take what it shows me and run with it. I'll refine what it gives me and do some iterations.
But I can see where this is leading. It is a little worrying, as if you just grow up with AI at your finger tips, will you be analyzing and learning? Or just consuming.
Born in 1974, I've done the whole university thing by going to a library to photocopy books and then REEEEEAAAADDDD for days. So I know how to do that and I see AI as a huge time saver and it generally allows me to get stuff down on one platform.
BUT, as I wrote, I already have learned to think critically, and to filter out noise. Will this be the same for my kids? Not sure...
For now, I like the fact I get an ANSWER and not a list. I like that I can have a need and put it in AI and get it filled. I especially like that I have a lot of general knowledge stuff in my noodle and can work out when to question a result.
How are you using AI? What's your biggest worry?
