So honoured to be a part of a team like Etalk! Taking home a Canadian Screen Award for our in conversation with Jully Black is very special as it was ultimately the story of a Black immigrant mom’s sacrifice to ensure a better shot at life. It was encouraging to see so many meaningful stories being rewarded, lifetime achievements being recognized like Marilyn Dennis and to see The ladies of The Social get their flowers (in trophy form) because as Jess Allen said the highs are so much more enjoyable but the lows show you who your people are. Lastly I’ll say it’s very reassuring and makes me proud to be on the BellMedia team when our execs are getting shoutouts from so many of the winners, that means we are producing great content in reality, entertainment and documentaries.

While the entire award season was a success, it really came together for the biggest night in Hollywood. Etalk AFTER THE OSCARS was welcomed to over a million households and I’m grateful on so many levels. The viewers for supporting our new way of covering The Oscars, BellMedia & CTV for making such a big swing, the teams writing, styling and figuring out the tech to pull off a live show from the Hollywood Hills.

The industry is changing & we are leading the charge

The wins just look different every year!

One Love
