Ugur Lee Kanbur, also known as Lee, is an accomplished hotelier with over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He is of Australian/Turkish origin and speaks English, Turkish, and basic Chinese. Kanbur began his career as a waiter at Hilton Melbourne and quickly advanced to bar manager. After gaining experience in Turkey and Australia, he moved to Asia in 1999, where he held various operational roles at prestigious hotels such as The Westin Stamford and Westin Plaza Hotel Singapore, The Westin Shanghai, and The Westin Kuala Lumpur.
