Rangan's educational background is impressive, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University and pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Health at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her strong academic foundation has propelled her into a career that blends scientific knowledge with policy development and public outreach.
Throughout her professional journey, Rangan has held various important roles that showcase her dedication to public health and sustainability. She has been the Chief Science Advisor for the GRACE Communications Foundation, where she worked on projects aimed at improving sustainable food systems. In partnership with various organizations, her role involved advising on scientific matters and helping guide the foundation's initiatives in promoting health and sustainability in the food industry.
In addition to her advisory roles, Rangan has also served as a Sustainable Food Systems Consultant at Rangan Consulting LLC, where she provided her expertise to organizations seeking to enhance their understanding of sustainable practices in food production and consumption.
