Highlights
After a wonderful 4.5 years, my time at Uber has come to an end. It's a surreal experience to work at a company that for many, is a part of everyday life, whether you're moving or earning with Uber. I'm forever grateful for the experience, the people, and the mission that pulled us together. I also feel fortunate to have led a privacy & data policy team, where we took a holistic approach to privacy, AI, cybersecurity, and fairness. These are important and interrelated issues that will continue to converge as new technologies become more prominent in our lives (and our careers!) To my team and colleagues at Uber: thank you for your trust and partnership on these important policy issues.
As for what's next, I'm thrilled to be joining Anonym, an early-stage startup that's working to enable high performing, privacy-safe advertising. Those who know me well know how much time I spend thinking about how to improve the way organizations exchange data and extract useful information without compromising privacy, as well as how regulations can support innovation in this space. I'm excited to continue this work at Anonym as their VP of Public Policy & Corporate Affairs, joining a stellar group of tech & privacy experts.
