Vaibhav Pratap Singh is a senior analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water with a rich background in sustainable financing, financial solution design, electric mobility, financial analysis, and policy.

He currently works with the Center for Energy Finance at CEEW focusing on long-term sustainable solution design and thought leadership pieces to promote the adoption of sustainable practices.

Prior to his current role, Vaibhav gained experience at Climate Policy Initiative, where he contributed to the design and structuring of financial solutions such as the Payment Security Mechanism and the Credit Guarantee Mechanism, and supported initiatives like the US-India Clean Energy Finance initiative for the distributed solar power sector.

Earlier in his career, Vaibhav was involved in corporate credit ratings, business model design, credit underwriting, and corporate process grading exercises.

His specialties include research, financial analysis, electric mobility, business model design, credit underwriting, corporate rating, and corporate process grading.

Vaibhav holds a PGDM in Finance and Supply Chain Management from Delhi School of Business, an executive program in international business and trade from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from BABU BANARASI DAS NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT, LUCKNOW.
