Valerie Kay

Valerie Kay is a highly experienced professional with a background in health promotion, health policy, and research, who teaches Climate Change and Public Health in the Masters of Public Health course.

She has a rich educational background having completed a Master of Arts specializing in Australian History and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Health at Monash University.

Valerie has served in various key roles including as a Teaching Associate at Monash University, Health Promotion Coordinator at Inner South East Partnership in Community and Health, and as a Researcher/Policy advisor at the Parliament of Victoria.

In addition to her professional roles, Valerie has been actively involved in environmental organizations and has a keen interest in public health, social justice, health equity, environmental and health interplay, social and environmental history, and feminism.
