Vance Aloupis

Statewide Director

Vance Aloupis, currently serving as the statewide director of The Children's Movement, started his career in law before transitioning to non-profit work in South Florida.

With a background in law and a former student body president at the University of Miami, Vance brings a diverse skill set to his role, focusing on building organizational collaborations, regional strategies, fundraising, and increasing public awareness for The Movement.

Prior to his current position, Vance was a deputy state coordinator within The Movement, working closely with Dave Lawrence, the chair of The Children's Movement.

Vance's experiences include being a fellow at the University of Miami Center for Ethics and Public Service's Street Law program, where he developed curricula for juvenile detention centers in South Florida, along with working as a civil litigator and with Florida Legal Services.

Appointed by Governor Rick Scott in 2012, Vance served a two-year term as a commissioner on the Florida Commission on Community Service, showcasing his commitment to public service.

Originally from Bangor, Maine, Vance now resides in Aventura, Florida, with his wife and daughter, Isabella.
