Varda Sardesai

Senior Research Assistant

Varda Sardesai is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in Biotechnology, Zoology, Clinical Medicine, Stem Cell Biology, and Regenerative Medicine.

Varda completed her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Zoology from Carmel College of Arts Science and Commerce, Goa University, and further pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Clinical Medicine at The University of Queensland.

She also holds a Certificate in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Stem Cell Biology from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a Master's degree in Regenerative Medicine from Manipal University.

Throughout her career, Varda has held several significant positions, including being a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW and a Senior Research Assistant at St. Vincent's Centre for Applied Medical Research.

Prior to these roles, she gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at esteemed institutions such as the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute, The Clem Jones Research Centre for Stem Cells and Tissue Regenerative Therapies, University of Queensland Diamantina Institute, and The University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research.
