Veronica Di Bella is an environmental and social waste management professional with 17 years of experience working in Africa, Asia, and South America.

She was a part of the Environmental, Social, Governance-Impact team at BII (formerly known as CDC) from 2017 to 2024, where she supported the private sector in implementing Responsible Investing policies and managing crisis within the SMART equity portfolio.

Veronica has a strong background in leading environmental and social programs funded by various agencies and has a passion for capacity-building among private and public stakeholders.

Her educational qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, along with specialized studies in climate change, solid waste management, and international development cooperation.

Throughout her career, Veronica has held various roles in organizations such as the Principles of Responsible Investment (UNPRI), British International Investment, and IMC Worldwide, gaining extensive experience in waste management, circular economy, and environmental sustainability.

She has also contributed to the development of sector strategies and knowledge-sharing products related to waste management and circular economy.

Veronica's expertise and dedication to environmental and social issues make her a valuable asset in the field of waste management and sustainable development.
