Vicki Mazur

Vicki Mazur is a dedicated math educator with a passion for helping high school students understand and apply math concepts. With experience in various educational settings, Vicki excels in breaking down complex math topics into everyday language that resonates with students.

Vicki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from San Diego State University, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brandman University, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Alliant International University. She is a certified teacher with expertise in Single Subject Foundational Math and Introductory Business, as well as CLAD certification.

Throughout her career, Vicki has taught math, computer science, and robotics at The Classical Academies and several high schools including Rancho Bernardo High School, San Pasqual High School, and Clairemont High School. She has also served as a treasurer at Caring 4 Kids and gained experience as a math tutor at The Princeton Review and Mazur Math.

Vicki's teaching approach involves using a wide variety of teaching aids, motivational strategies, and technological tools to engage students in active learning. Her goal is to create a lifelong passion for learning math in every student, regardless of their preferred learning methods. Vicki's unique ability to relate to high school students and simplify complex math concepts into relatable terms sets her apart as an educator.

Currently based in Elkhorn, Nebraska, Vicki Mazur is prepared to bring her expertise in math education to new students in the area as circumstances warrant.
