Founder & Co-CEO Team Liquid

Victor "Nazgul" Goossens, a former professional StarCraft player, founded Team Liquid in the late 2000s, initially as a Brood War clan and later expanded it to an international organization.

Under Victor's leadership, Team Liquid has grown to include over 120 athletes and talent spread across 15 titles, five continents, and boasts two state-of-the-art training facilities.

Apart from its success in competitions, Team Liquid also has a diverse business focus, including marketing partnerships with major brands, content production through 1UP Studios, talent management, and technology development with projects such as Liquipedia and Liquid+.

In addition to his role at Team Liquid, Victor serves as an investor and board member for SunSpear Games, a board member for the CS Louvre Agreement, and an investor and strategic advisor for AoE Creative, a renowned design and marketing firm.

Victor Goossens has been widely covered in the media, with features on various platforms like Reuters, Financial Times, and CNBC. Team Liquid itself has been featured in content on Netflix, HBO, and ESPN, among others. In 2020, Victor was honored with induction into the Tempest Esports Business Awards Hall of Fame.

He studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam and has held key roles in organizations such as SunSpear Games, Liquid Enterprises B.V., and Team Liquid, where he served as Founder & Co-CEO. Previously, Victor Goossens supported himself through a career as a professional poker player and a professional StarCraft player.
