I'm a Masters's student who will soon be graduating in December and I use LinkedIn extensively for connecting with people to network. I love the fact that the Linkedin platform helps so many job seekers.
But this post is about a problem that i have been facing quite recently. I love to customize my invite while sending connection requests. But, "sometimes" #linkedin automatically sends the invite before giving me the "prompt" to add in a personal invite. This usually happens a lot when I'm using the web version of Linkedin. Note: Sometimes, I do get the prompt, But sometimes i don't see it.
And when i want to withdraw my connection request to add in a personal note, It restricts me to wait for 3 weeks to send a connection request again to the same person. I understand that there is another way to add a personal invite by going on to the person's profile( by clicking the three dots and choosing the option)
But as an aspiring product manager, I feel this issue should be taken into consideration to avoid the hassle of waiting for 3 weeks when i send a connection request without a personalized invite by mistake. #jobseekers #linkedincompanypage #linkedinfamily #network #people #linkedinconnections #productmanager
