Vincent Lim is a multi-faceted engineer with a diverse range of experience in aeronautical engineering, subsea pipelaying, geographical digitization, and 3D modeling. After completing his Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic and his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Vincent started his career designing, fabricating, and testing drones in his role as a Tactical UAV Engineer at DSO National Laboratories. He then moved on to specialize in subsea pipelaying at McDermott Asia Pacific, where he learned the critical importance of well-documented procedures for daily operations. After his stint at McDermott, Vincent co-founded YNL Geomatic Services, where he used 3D laser scanning and dimensional control techniques to create intelligent 3D models for digitizing geographical details and infrastructure throughout the Building Information Modeling workflow. YNL executed diverse projects in Architecture, Pharmaceutical, Marine, Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Facility Management, and Heritage industries. Today, Vincent serves as the CTO of Stendard, where he leads the development team, bringing his varied experience and expertise to the table.
