Virginia's artistic journey began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Studio Art and English, which laid a solid foundation for her future ventures in design.
Throughout her career, Virginia has held multiple key positions that highlight her versatility and leadership in design. As a Creative Director and Designer at a renowned branding and design studio, she displayed her ability to guide projects from conception to completion, ensuring that client visions were translated into striking visual identities. Virginia co-founded Into Quarterly, where she took on the role of Creative Director, contributing to the publication's success through innovative design and compelling storytelling.
Her experience as Lead Brand Designer and Art Director at Canary (canary.is) allowed her to work on groundbreaking projects that bridged technology and design. Here, she established a meaningful connection between branding and user experience, enhancing the way consumers engage with the company's offerings. Virginia also served as a Visual Designer at Huge, further solidifying her reputation for delivering impactful design solutions.
In addition to her design achievements, Virginia has contributed to the education of future designers as a faculty member at The Art Institute of Austin, sharing her expertise and passion for design with students. Her role as a Graphic Designer at Pentagram and her tenure at Ignition 72 illustrate her ability to thrive within dynamic team environments and tackle complex design challenges.
