Vivienne Gilkes is an experienced special educationalist with a strong background in Life Skills Science, blended learning, differentiation, individualization, special education, and visible learning. She was recognized as the 2013 NSW WoW Science Teacher by the Australian Academy of Science.

Vivienne Gilkes holds a Master of Special Education, a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Education (Behavioral Problems), a Graduate Diploma in Education, and a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) from renowned institutions like Macquarie University and the University of Technology, Sydney.

Throughout her career, Vivienne has held various roles in prestigious independent schools in Sydney. She has served as the Head of Teaching and Learning at St Edmund's College Wahroonga, a Science Teacher at St Edmund's College Wahroonga, a Science Teacher at Wenona School, a Head of House at Wenona School, a Year 7 Coordinator at St Charbel's College, and a Science Teacher at St Charbel's College. Additionally, she has contributed as a Peer Reviewer to the Australian Journal of Learning Difficulties and worked as a Scientific Officer at Sydney Diagnostic Services.
