Emerson supports STEM in St. Louis. Emerson's Micro Motion mass flowmeters and Rosemount temperature and pressure instruments are being used by students in Rockwood Summit High School's Renewable Fuels Club to make Biodiesel.

Used vegetable oil is reclaimed from Washington University's food service operations and converted to biodiesel. Yesterday RSHS made the first sale of biodiesel back to Wash U's food service operation. It is being used to fuel their delivery trucks.
