Wayne Ellis is a Memory IP Development Engineer with extensive experience in GF 22FDSOI and Sub-22nm FinFet ROM IP product development as a design lead.

He specializes in FDSOI and FinFet circuit design technology, conducting technology PVT analysis, defining functionality limits for low voltage product operation, and providing engineering insights to meet Burn In requirements.

Wayne has a solid background in SRAM circuit design and leverages his industry expertise to drive patent strategy, valuation, and assertion by developing claims, identifying valuable patents, determining infringing products, and analyzing patents and technologies for internal development or acquisition.

With over 30 years of industry experience in DRAM, eDRAM, and eSRAM product design and development, Wayne has over 30 patents granted in VLSI product and technology fields.

He has served as a member of Patent Review boards for Rambus, IBM, Qimonda, and Innovative Silicon and has published over 30 papers on DRAM circuit and technology in refereed journals.

Wayne Ellis has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont Continuing Education from 2000 to 2005 and as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Linkoping Sweden in 2002 during his tenure at Ericsson - Linkoping.

His educational background includes studying for a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science at the University of Vermont.

Throughout his career, Wayne has held key roles at reputable organizations such as INVECAS, Snowflake Ridge Consulting LLC, Rambus, Innovative Silicon inc., Qimonda North America, Irvine Sensors, and IBM.
