She has served as a mentor at 1871, founder, and CEO at Yellow Tractor, co-founder of The Yellow Tractor Project, and held roles such as advisory board member and development consultant at Family Action Network and director of business development at Make it Better.

Wendy has also lent her expertise as a trustee at New Trier Educational Foundation, grants chair at D39 Educational Foundation, and a member of the Women's Board at the American Cancer Society in Chicago, Midwest Region.
