Highlights
I’ve seen more and more companies move away from unlimited PTO back to structured PTO plans. At some companies, unlimited PTO can feel like “no PTO” if other people aren’t taking any. At Recruiting from Scratch, we have an unlimited PTO policy. Some of our employees have taken as much as three weeks off at a time.
How does your company handle PTO and work-life balance? What strategies have you found effective in keeping your team happy and engaged?

Personally, I love having my dog Ferry at home with me when I work from home, it forces me to get outside. Otherwise, I would be glued to my computer and inside the whole day.
For those who work from home, do you find it comforting or distracting to have your pet around?
