William "Billy" Hall is a highly experienced professional with over 40 years in environmental sciences and engineering consulting, specializing in multidisciplinary environmental projects across various industries.

As the Chairman and co-founder of NewFields, Billy Hall oversees a consulting firm catering to clients in diverse sectors such as oil and gas, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, chemicals, and waste management.

His expertise encompasses strategic planning, data and environmental systems analysis, decision analysis, remediation system design, and detailed process and civil design and construction management.

In the past two decades, he has focused on applying decision theory to effectively manage complex environmental liabilities portfolios for public, private, and NGO sectors.

Beyond his role at NewFields, Mr. Hall is actively involved in several environmental and civic organizations. He serves as a board member for The Chattahoochee Riverkeeper, a board member and co-founder of South Fork Conservancy, and previously held the position of vice president at Olmstead Linear Park Association.

Billy Hall has also provided technical expertise to renowned institutions such as the Southern Environmental Law Center and the Environmental Defense Fund, along with various local and regional civic and environmental organizations.

His commitment to environmental causes has been recognized with awards, including the Green Law’s 2012 "Environmental Hero Award" for his pro bono work on the Patterns of Pollution project.

William Hall pursued his education in Civil Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
